- PROBUS South Pacific and PROBUS Victoria are organising a special deal for this amazing Anniversary. The very first Australian club — the Probus Club of Hunters Hill – was established on 3 February 1976. To mark this special anniversary, Olive Farm Wines is producing a limited-edition bottling of Olive Farm Wines Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, featuring a bespoke Probus 50th Anniversary label. 2. Tuesday 14th July at 12 noon we had a High Tea at Windy Hill. This event was to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of PROBUS in Australia. We were delighted that about 25 members of Strathmore PROBUS club joined us for this special occasion.
3. There will be a combined PROBUS High Tea celebration on Tuesday October 6th at 12.30pm. The cost will be $39.00 unless you would like a vegetarian meal (no vegan) when the cost will be $5 more. This is for all the clubs that meet at Windy Hill. It will be $39 per head for the food – which has a great reputation – but please pay for your own drinks. For those who wish to attend please put your name down at the September meeting or email Kathy. Payment will need to be by Direct Debit to our account details in the newsletter. Kathy has sent out an email with details.
4. There will also be a celebration cake at the October general meeting to celebrate this amazing event.
