Luncheons are arranged for the second Tuesday of each alternate month. We visit a wide range of carefully selected restaurants that provide quality meals at a modest price. Luncheons are well supported by members.

The next luncheon will be held on Tuesday 11th July. This will be at the Old England Hotel, 459 Heidelberg Road, Heidelberg. For more information, click here. Those attending can opt for the “Christmas in July” menu, or choose from the a la carte menu (click here).

The last luncheon was held in May at Green Bamboo Vietnamese Restaurant, North Essendon. Twenty-one members attended and enjoyed the delicious meal.

The luncheon for March was held at Young and Jacksons Hotel in Melbourne CBD. Around 30 members and friends enjoyed the lunch (and seeing Chloe).

The first luncheon for 2022 was held in April at KL Laska, Moonee Ponds. The June luncheon was held at Mr Majestic Cafe Bar, Hall Street, Moonee Ponds.

The August luncheon was held at the Thonglor Thai Restaurant, Edgewater. The small group enjoyed the food, service and the cosy ambience.

The first functions for 2021 were convivial luncheons at the Anglers Tavern, Moonee Ponds, in January and February. Around 30 members and guests were pleased to be able to meet in person to welcome a year that was hoped to be better than 2020.

The lunch for March 2021 was held at the Union Hotel, Ascot Vale. Once again there was a good atmosphere and food.

A lunch was held in April at Tian38, Flinders Lane, Melbourne. The small group really enjoyed the excellent Singaporean cuisine.

No other lunches were possible in 2021.
