Each year, the Club has a Christmas Luncheon in December instead of our normal meeting for that month.
The 2021 Christmas Luncheon was held at the Anglers Tavern, Maribyrnong, on Tuesday 7th December. Members were delighted to be together again, after yet another year of interruptions and cancellations due to restrictions in response to the pandemic. Around sixty – members and guests – enjoyed the ambience, food, wine and comradeship.

The 2020 Christmas Luncheon was held at Old Man Drew, Mount Alexander Road, Ascot Vale, on Tuesday 8th December. This was a very happy occasion since normal Club activities had been cancelled since March. Members were delighted to meet again in person and to enjoy each other’s company, delicious food and fine wines.

The Luncheon for Christmas 2019 was held at the Restaurant of the William Angliss Institute in LaTrobe Street, Melbourne. The traditional Christmas fare was enjoyed by around 40 members and guests.
As in past years, members and guests were invited to provide some Christmas cheer to others, rather than giving gifts to each other. Generous cash contributions were made to our ‘Kris Kringle for the Asylum Seekers’.
